Since kick-nut is a very bold name for a peanut butter company, I knew I wanted the illustrations to reflect the very in-your-face attitude. With my initial sketches, I took inspiration from one of my favorite video games, "Super Smash Bros." to create characters that not only interacted with each other but also the packaging itself. By refining these characters, I developed a fully articulate illustration to which I was able to then model for animation, showcasing the vibe I set for the company: fun, natural, and Epic. To compliment this character design among the packaging, I made sure to add details that would uniform the overall design. These include custom UPC codes, Icons, and shapes that add a level of dimension to the type.
